Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has confirmed that his star forward Bojan Krkic is all set to return from a long spell on the sidelines.

The former Barcelona forward was a star signing for the club last summer. He was expected to take a long time to accommodate to the physical style of English football, but it happened much sooner than expected. Just when it seemed that Bojan Krkic was set to take the league by storm, a long-term injury sidelined him for much of the 2014-15 season. Even without the star asset, Stoke were able to enjoy a good campaign.

The Stoke City forward was extremely unlikely to get a cruciate ligament injury at a time when he was just starting to find his feet at the club. The former Barcelona man was widely expected to struggle when it was announced that he was going to play for Stoke City – a team known for its physical style of football. Even though Hughes has been trying to change this aspect about the club, it largely remains a work in progress.
