Bojan Krkic enjoying new Team

Former Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic says that he is enjoying his time at Stoke City, who emerged as unlikely winners for the signature of the Spaniard in the summer.

After a few years in the wilderness,Krkic joined Stoke after rejecting the likes of Ajax and AC Milan. Apart from having come through the youth academy at Barcelona, Bojan also played along with the likes of Lionel Messi for several years before moving onto Roma. At just 24 years old, he is just approaching the prime of his career. He may be yet to make an impact in the Premier League, but he says that he has been enjoying his time so far.

The 24-year-old’s biggest contribution of his Stoke career came just before the international break when he scored the winner against Tottenham in the league match. He may have already played 500 minutes of Premier League football until now, but he is pleased with his contribution so far. It was well expected thatBojan was not going to be an instant hit, as players usually coming from the Spanish football take time to settle to the different style of the Premier League. Even though his Barcelona career is largely regarded as a failure,Bojan is unconcerned about this aspect because he is happy just to have represented Barcelona, a club that he supports.

"Stoke are a team with a very direct game but the coach is slowly trying to change that mentality.I've always wanted to try in the Premiership and now I'm enjoying it.Being a home-grown player, I achieved what I set out to do by playing and scoring for Barca. I consider I was a success.I made my debut very early and a lot of things happened to me at a young age, but I was there for the best time in Barcelona’s history and played with the best players in the world,” said Bojan.
