KRKIC RETURNS FROM INJURY

Bojan Krkic has made a successful return from injury and could feature in the upcoming Barcelona games. The Catalan boss Josep Guardiola decided to play an experimental team against a tough looking Russian side Rubin Kazan. The Spanish coach simply knew that his side were going to the next round with flying colours as they were to stay at the top of the points table no matter what the result was. Josep Guardiola decided to give the “European” experience to the young guns of Barcelona and 10 reserve team players featured during the game at Nou Camp.

It was a big night for the two young Spanish strikers who were given their first start of the UEFA Victor Valdes Champions League this season and they were Bojan Krkic and Jeffren. Even though it was a big game for both of them, they were seen leaving the ground early during the game. It was Jeffren who received a knock from the Russian centre back and looked to have pulled something and couldn’t continue after only 7 minutes of game played. Later, he was joined by Bojan Krkic who got roughly tackled by a Russian full back and he couldn’t continue either and both the young strikers were taken off as Victor Valdes and Marc Bartra saw themselves playing for the home side.
