BARCA ARE CONFIDENT
Andreas Iniesta says that Barcelona never doubted their abilities and were confident of returning to form. The dominant Blaugrana had to come from a goal behind as Sidney Govou gave the Greeks a surprise lead but Lionel Messi responded immediately and later netted a second with David Villa, Pedro and Daniel Alves also getting amongst the goals.
"We needed to have a good feeling again and the team has played a very complete match. We have started the league well and we have not stopped tonight despite the chance our opponent got after 20 minutes," Iniesta told Marca before looking ahead to their next fixture.
"The nerves are generated outside, inside the dressing room there's never a doubt. We knew we were not quite right [against Hercules] but nothing more. We were looking forward to Tuesday so we could win.
"When there is a loss it hurts us all but it's only one and so we should remain calm. The team against Panathinaikos has taken a step forward and we must now concentrate on the next game [against Atletico Madrid] in the Calderon. That's a special game and a very difficult one."
