BOJAN INSPIRED BY BENZEMA

Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic has said that he is inspired by Karim Benzema a little. Benzema struggled to assert himself in the early stages of his Madrid career, having moved from Lyon for around £30 million in 2009, but an injury to regular frontman Gonzalo Higuain gave him his chance and he has bagged ten goals in his last eight games.

LIVERPOLL OFFERED KRKIC

Liverpool are interested in buying Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic for £17million. Publication Sport comments that despite the Merseyside club adding two strikers in the January transfer window in the form of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez, they remain on the hunt for attacking talent.

As a result, they have identified the Barca product as a potential addition, and are willing to spend up to €20 million (£17m) to prise the 20-year-old from the Nou Camp.

GUARDIOLA UNCONCERNED BY KRKIC FORM

However, Bojan Krkic has managed just three goals in 16 appearances this season for the Blaugrana, and has failed to produce his best form in much of his outings.

BOJAN SIGNS EXTENSION

KRKIC RETURNS FROM INJURY

Bojan Krkic has made a successful return from injury and could feature in the upcoming Barcelona games. The Spanish coach simply knew that his side were going to the next round with flying colours as they were to stay at the top of the points table no matter what the result was. Josep Guardiola decided to give the “European” experience to the young guns of Barcelona and 10 reserve team players featured during the game at Nou Camp.

GUARDIOLA TRUSTS IN KRIKIC

He had been struggling for goals at the start of the season but has now began to find the opposition's net with regularity, making Guardiola pleased.

New signing David Villa will spearhead the Catalan giants’ attacking line this season, but Bojan believes that, with fewer attacking players at the club, he will still have more opportunity to impose himself in Pep Guardiola’s side.

Krkic - More Chances Now

Bojan Krkic feels he has a bigger chance of regular football at Barcelona this season.
